In front of the village, in a closed bay, one discovers the beautiful organized beach of Agios Pavlos, which remains unchanged to this day by the signs of time. The small downhill path that leads to the beach, is said to have been the point where Saint Paul took refuge to rest, during his journey to Rome, hence the name of the village and the beach. Deep blue waters, sand with small pebbles and impressive rock formations and folds, views of the endless Libyan Sea and the islands of Paximadia, offer the ultimate experience of unspoiled nature, away from the noisy reality.

Due to the absence of public transport routes, the beach still remains a well-hidden gem, known only to locals and select travelers. Many people choose it for meditation, due to the calming energy that the area shows, while seminars and wellness events and Yoga are often held there.

A breath away from the main beach, at the western end, is another unknown to many diamonds of the Libyan Sea, the Dunes of Agios Pavlos or Atsalogremni as they are called by the locals. A beach with rare geography caves, imposing dunes that start from the bottom and spring to the surface, beautiful, full of serene energy and romantic mood and famous sunset.

Among these dreamy areas, in the area of ​​Apoplystra, dominate the extremely impressive colorful folds, geological slabs of limestone, which together with the Dunes, have been proposed to be included in the list of world natural monuments.
