Ιn the municipality of Agios Vassilios, 58 km south of Rethymnon, lays the village of Agios Pavlos, which promises a unique experience of relaxation and tranquility. The village is easily accessible by road through the provincial road network of Agia Galini, through the village of Saktouria.
In front of the village, in a closed bay, one discovers the beautiful organized beach of Agios Pavlos, which remains unchanged to this day by the signs of time. An unprecedented gastronomic experience is offered to the visitors of the settlement, as in the area grow special greens such as «akindinos», wild leek, wild artichoke and mushrooms “Artikites”, mushrooms that always grow at the root of the widespread plant in Crete, Arkitas. which is located in the mountains of the province of Agios Vassilios of Rethymno but also in a part of Amari.
